The hubergroup has started notifying its customers about price adjustments effective from juli 1, due to rising cost of raw material, climbing for some products up to 50% compared to last quarter of 2009. This step was decided after growing cost for pigment, varnish and binder, energy and packaging could no longer be compensated by process and product improvements within the company structures. For years, production and formulae were optimised with the benefit of keeping ink prices fairly stable. The current development however, disallows to stay idle in this matter, especially since the weak Euro is adding even more cost to raw material purchasing.

Customers and Sales Representatives will discuss the actions to be taken within the coming weeks. The hubergroup will prove to be a reliable partner in the future and will be prepared to meet the coming challenges while offering most economical solutions.
