Integrated Management System
To improve the quality of our products and services, we have become the first German manufacturer of inks to introduce an Integrated Management System (IMS). This system covers the fields of quality, environment, occupational safety and protection against dangers at the workplace. It means:
-
Optimum product and service quality, integrated environmental protection, maximum levels of occupational safety and operational reliability and economic efficiency are corporate objectives of equal priority.
-
The activities undertaken by the company in order to improve quality, environmental protection, occupational safety
and operational reliability are the business of all employees, but we also integrate our suppliers and
contractual partners in these efforts.
-
Emissions, wastes and negative consequences on quality, the environment, occupational safety and operational
reliability are either avoided completely or reduced to a minimum by technical and/or
organisational means; for instance, the company does not use any raw materials that are classified as toxic,
highly toxic or carcinogenic.
By introducing an integrated management system, we have attained a high degree of motivation on the part of our
employees and optimum handling of our individual business processes. This gives our customers the certainty
that we are doing everything in our power to provide them with the quality of products and services they expect
from us. What's more, we are facing up to the responsibility we have for our employees and the environment.
TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH has certified that the systems for quality management, environmental
management and occupational health and safety management operated by Michael Huber München GmbH satisfy
the requirements of standards DIN EN ISO 9001 (QM), DIN EN ISO 14001 (EM) and OHSAS 18001 (OSM)
respectively.
With regard to protection against dangers at the workplace and emergency management (for which there is no
certification standard) TÜV NORD CERT has confirmed that we have set up - on the basis of
regional and national regulations - a suitable system for providing safety, a system that incorporates
rules aimed at minimizing damage and promotes fire protection and works security.
We would be only too pleased to discuss our experience in the planning and introduction of an IMS with our partners.
